Remark:
In 1878, in the coal mines of Bernissart, 30 skeletons of the dinosaur genus Iguanodon were found. The skeletons can be viewed in the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences. The species was named Iguanodon bernissartensis, which means Iguanodon of Bernissart.
The museum in Bernissart contains the skeleton of 1 Iguanodon.
